ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೇ, 17,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಖಾಸಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಒತ್ತಡದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ದಂತ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕೋರ್ಸ್‌ ಗಳ ಶುಲ್ಕ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಶರಣ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಖಾಸಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಾಗೂ ದಂತ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಶರಣ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಶನಿವಾರ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು 10% ರಿಂದ 15% ಶುಲ್ಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದವು. ಆದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ 10% ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಶರಣ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಶರಣ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ 10% ಶುಲ್ಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಅತಿ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Government Stands Firm Against Pressure from Private Institutions, Maintains Status Quo
Bengaluru, May 17: In a significant announcement, the Karnataka state government has declared that there will be no increase in fee structure for medical and dental courses in the upcoming academic year, despite pressure from private medical colleges.
After holding a meeting with office bearers of private medical and dental college managements, minister for medical education, skill development, livelihood and the district in-charge minister for Raichur Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil made this clarification on Saturday.
Private colleges had appealed for a 10% to 15% hike in fees. However, the minister stated that although the government had allowed a 10% increase last year, no fee hike will be permitted this year.
Responding promptly to the matter raised during the meeting, minister Patil reiterated that last year’s 10% hike was sufficient and emphasized that there will be no fee hike this year. He added that an agreement formalizing this decision will be signed soon.
