ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,13,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಎಇಡಿಪಿ( ಅಪ್ರೆಂಟಿಸ್ ಶಿಪ್ ಎಂಬೆಡೆಡ್ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮ್) ಪದವಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಾವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಎಂ ಸಿ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜ್ಞಾನಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಬಿಕಾಂ ಪದವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣಕಾಸು, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್, ಲಾಜಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್, ಇ-ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ,ರಿಟೇಲ್ ಸೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿ ಈಗ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪ್ರೆಂಟಿಸ್ ಶಿಪ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಸಿ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
2024-25 ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡ ಎಇಡಿಪಿ ಪದವಿ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗಳು ಈಗ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಉಳಿದ 4 ಮತ್ತೆ 5ನೇ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಶೀಲರಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಂತ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ವಲಗೊಳಿಸಲಿದೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಹಂತವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಕೋಚ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಬಿಡಬೇಕು, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಗಲಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಸೋತು ಗೆದ್ದವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸೋತಾಗ ಹೆದರದೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ನಾವು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈಗ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದ ತರಬೇತಿಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರದ್ದೇ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಆಗಿದೆ. ನೀವೀಗ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಲಯದಿಂದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ವಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿಮ್ಮದಾಗಿದೆ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಇಡಿಪಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಯುಜಿಸಿ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರಣ ಯುಜಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಅವರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಯಿತು ಎಂದರು.
ಏಇಡಿಪಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಎಸ್ಸಿ ಬಿಎ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಲುವಂತಹ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಈ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅಪಾರವಿದ್ದು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಧಾರಿತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಎ ಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಖುಷ್ಬೂ ಗೋಯಲ್, ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಆಯುಕ್ತಾರಾದ ಮಂಜುಶ್ರೀ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme to be Extended to Science and Arts Streams
Dr. M. C. Sudhakar,⁸ Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of Karnataka, stated that the employment-oriented Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) will soon be extended to students of Science and Arts disciplines as well.
He was inaugurating a one-day workshop held at Jnanajyoti Auditorium for B.Com. students who have completed two years of study in Finance, Banking, Logistics, E-Commerce, and Retail sectors and are now entering industry-based apprenticeships in relevant fields.
The Minister noted that the AEDP degree courses launched in the academic year 2024–25 have now reached a decisive stage in shaping students into job-ready professionals. Students will complete their 4th and 5th semester through hands-on training in industry settings, which will significantly strengthen their career prospects. He urged students to approach this crucial phase with confidence and determination.
Encouraging students to overcome hesitation and build self-belief, he emphasized that success in life is achievable only through confidence and perseverance. Many achievers have overcome setbacks, he said, and students must recognize their own potential and strengthen their capabilities with courage and conviction.
Highlighting an encouraging trend, the Minister observed that women students constitute the majority among those proceeding for the first phase of apprenticeship training. As students transition from the academic environment to the professional world, he advised them to embrace this opportunity with confidence and commitment.
He further stated that after Karnataka implemented AEDP, the University Grants Commission adopted the model for nationwide implementation. He recalled presenting the concept on a national platform, which drew the attention of the UGC leadership and inspired broader adoption.
Emphasizing the global relevance of AEDP, the Minister noted that the programme is aligned with industry requirements and evolving economic demands. Similar employment-oriented curriculum models will soon be introduced for B.Sc. and B.A. students to meet sectoral skill needs.
He also acknowledged the significant contribution of Sector Skill organizations in advancing this initiative and expressed confidence that more employment-focused educational programmes will emerge in the future.
The programme was attended by Sector Skill Chairman and retired IAS officer Srinivas, industry representatives, Higher Education Department Secretary Khushboo Goyal, Commissioner for Collegiate and Technical Education Manjushree, and other officials.
